Everyone carved their own pumpkin, we went for a hike through the woods, and took turns on the 4-wheeler. As you can see from the trees, it was a beautiful day in every way.

The boys and girls pitched pitched tents and had a great sleep over. Who is having the most fun? It is hard to tell.

Friday night we were honored to have the latest married witch, Stefanie Hatch, stop by for a visit during our cousins Halloween overnight party. She told some scary stories, taught the kids some Halloween songs and games. Afterwards, we had carmel apples for desert.

Thanks Stefanie!

I have been planning to create a plant propagation unit for a long time and finally completed it last night. As many of you know I have been crazy about plants for a long time. This is a pretty simple system, but using some technology to improve the success rate of growing plants from cuttings. Where I work there are flower beds with hundreds of roses and I have been wanting to take cuttings from some of them. Yesterday was the day. If this works, we will have some beautiful new roses for our flower beds next Spring.
