We are counting the days until the pumpkin party this year. Don't forget!! If you want to spend the night Friday night, Oct. 17, we will be going up in the afternoon or after work that evening. If you perfer, you may join us Saturday for the day. We will be carving the pumpkins Saturday early afternoon.

We were at the cabin this weekend and the color in the trees is already amazingly beautiful. Unfortunately, it will probably be mostly gone by the party, but we will still have a great time.

As you can see, Diane is getting excited!

We had the Grubbs Family Dinner at our home today. As always, we had great food and good times together. Diane went all out with sweet and sour chicken. Natalie made the fancy birthday cake. It was so nice we hated to eat it. After dinner we spent some time outside and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather.

I have taken hundreds of pictures of this waterfall and probably will never take a better one than this, but that won't stop me from trying.

I took a picture of the front of our house this morning as I left for work and couldn't help but be amazed at the difference from when we moved in. I thought I would share the contrast. The home is still badly in need of paint, but we have certainly made progress with the yard.

We took our bikes to Durango and rode the Old Lime Creek Road again like we did during the family reunion there. It was a beautiful day and I wish all our family had been able to enjoy the experience with us. There is something very renewing and rewarding to the sole to experience such natural beauty.
